Two weeks after Fluffy Fluffy launched the Grand Opening of their first location in the United States, the line still wraps around the café before they’re open. Orlando is eager to try these new Japanese souffle pancakes, and those who have had the pleasure are leaving their comments online.
On Yelp, there are forty-four reviews of Fluffy Fluffy Dessert Café with an overall rating of three-point-five stars out of five.
Some of the feedback provided by customers included praise for the staff, the aroma of the food, and of course the delicious flavor of their products. One frequent negative comment, was the wait.
“I wouldn’t expect even still, after a month that the line is still so long,” said Benson Lau, owner and operator of Fluffy Fluffy in Orlando.
Tiffany A. from Orlando left a three-star review and shared that she waited forty minutes to receive her pancakes in addition to waiting in line to place her order. A companion of hers allegedly had an hour wait for his order.
Steven Lin has worked for Fluffy Fluffy for almost a year. His love for food and appreciation for Orlando’s food scene has built his passion for his employer and the products they serve.
“I really want [Orlando] to understand the concept of a soufflé pancake. It takes time, it takes a labor of love to bring the plate from baking it to in front of the customer,” Lin said. “The wait time is there for a reason, to perfect these pancakes.”
Qinying Yin left a review on Google saying that the souffles were “Definitely worth the wait,” and left five stars even after waiting an hour and half.
There are one-hundred and thirteen reviews on Google with an overall rating of three point six stars.
Fluffy Fluffy Orlando is located at 2008 E Colonial Dr. and is open everyday from 11AM to 9PM.
